De KiteschoolHuys te Britten works in collaboration with De Kiteschool.nl, who can organise various activities for you on the beach or at sea. Choose from kite surfing, power kiting, surfing, banana sailing, body boarding, rafting, raft building, wave kayaking, beach volleyball, wakeboarding and more.


Manege Jonker

Manege JonkerRiding school in Katwijk, near De Noordduinen and very close to the beach. Daily there are horse-breaking and jumping lessons by experienced instructors for all ages and all levels: for kids and adults, for freshmen and advanced horse riders. There are beach and dune tours frequently.

Geen Kunst

Geen KunstThe creative workshops are both fascinating as entertaining. In a playfull way you creating your own painting, (sand)sculpture, mosaic or others. The workshop takes about 2,5 hours and can be tailored to your needs.

Since January 2006 Katwijk, Rijnsburg and Valkenburg together a new community with over 60.000 inhabitants. The fusion is booted to strengthen the position of one new community in the vicinity. The name 'Katwijk' is chosen because of the brand awareness. An important principle of the fusion is to keep the own culture, traditions and natures. That is why Katwijk even after the fusion is striving for a development by which one is proud of tradition, but nevertheless is attentive to prolongation.

It aims to strengthen the interests of the nature of the Dutch coast and the interests of nature lovers. The Society for Dune Conservation tries to reinforce nature along the coast by means of campaign, consultation and procedures. Advice is sent on a regular basis to the government and managers on ways to improve coastal protection or on designing new areas. Furthermore, information is given in terms of values and threats of the coastal areas, the beach and the North Sea.

To obtain the Green Key the company has to fulfil a list with numerous environmental requirements. These requirements are contained in a number of criteria. Besides pure environmental demands (for example to control the production of waste and the use of water, electricity, etc.), the criteria include demands on policy, action plans, education and communication. Obtaining The Green Key shows the sense of responsibility a organisation has for its surroundings and society.

Come and visit Recreatiecentrum Delftse Hout, a 4-star camping- and caravanning park on the eastside of Delft.

As of 2010 Recreatiecentrum Delftse Hout is owned by the park manager and his family. The partnership with the 3 other Koningshof sites will be maintained.
